"How does it work if I want a multiple hour session?" Here's the dealio, if you're wanting to schedule a session that takes more that an hour, the first hour starts at $325, for every hour added to our session, it'll be an additional $250/hr (exp. $325 + $250 = 2hr). In other words, you'd be getting a steal of a deal by booking longer sessions. This deal does not include weddings.
"What's a styled session?" Whenever I refer to a styled shoot, I'm talking about a session carefully designed to storytell. Can this kind of session involve anyone, absolutely. Styled shoots take more time than any other session to cultivate a creative framework around. I offer styled shoots because I feel lead to inspire creativity in others! You will present your idea and we will dream it up together. Things to know, I reserve the right to turn down any styled session and will not accept every idea. Anything purchased during a styled session is coming from the client's pocket and not the provider.
"What applies to Location + Time Fee's?" Location: Should the location of a photo session be over an hour travel outside of my home base in Bellingham, an additiona $100 will be charged per hour away (Regular session= $325, regular session 3 hours away = $325 + $200) Time: Should a session require a time extension outside of the designated hour (again, I'm flexible if we only go over by a couple of minutes), an additional $250/hr.
"I'm getting married and considering your wedding packages. What does a CoffeeConvo look like?" I love my brides and grooms! One of the things I offer is CoffeeConvos (over zoom or in-person depending on distance and preferences), where we can chat, get to know each other, ask questions, layout your BIG DAY timeframe, give updates... etc. During our first CoffeeConvo, I will have a premade template full of questions that will help us navigate your wedding day in a way that basically creates a surface level itinerary! It helps you to get to know a photographer's brain on the day of a wedding and what we might need in preparation for YOUR big day. CoffeeConvos are complimentary, I love to get you excited during this wedding planning season.
"I don't need an engagement session, can I trade it for a discount on my final wedding payment?" Sorry, no can do. The engagment sessions are complimentary. The reason for this is so I can work with you as a couple prior to your wedding day. I want you to be as present as possible on your wedding day, and some couples do NOT feel comfortable in front of a camera. The engagement session helps bridge those fears by getting to know the person behind the camera. It also gives you a look into my process while also receiving a GORGEOUS gallery available to use on your wedding day. There are SO many reasons I want to schedule an engagement session with you, which is why it's value can't be traded in.
